Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born 22nd February 1983. She is an American actor and comedian. She was the 2008 winner on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She went on to host Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.

 Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late night talk show. She has six Netflix comedy specials. In April 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show.

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into an Jewish family from New York City. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, where her family relocated when she was a newborn. She went to Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. She was a student at the school, studying Spanish as well as being a part of the school's improv team.

 Shlesinger performed at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She participated in Semester at Sea. After that, she went on to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. Here she majored film. While at Emerson College she developed her editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy group that plays on campus.

 Following her graduation from college Shlesinger moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. Shlesinger was an awe-inspiring member of the Whiteboy Comedy standup comedy group in Los Angeles. This brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
