Handler was a professional actress to support her. Her ability to tell stories was uncovered at 21. Handler then decided to make a full-time commitment to stand-up comedy. Handler's stand-up career began when she was part of an all-female Oxygen TV show in the reality show with a hidden camera and practical humor series Girls Behaving Unsteadily.
